About
Hi there!
I’m Elke, a 22 year old student economics, living in Brussels and a girl with big dreams. Particularly when it comes to travelling. I can’t seem to get enough!
After high school, I participated in the AFS Program and I lived with a host family in Mexico city. Not the loveliest city in the world, but I heart the people and the country! It’s also the place where I learned the better way to learn languages. And to like to learn languages.
Autumn 2008 I spent in a little town, Deggendorf, near Munich. I studied there for a semester with over a hundred other international students, an incredible experience. And off course, I visited the Oktoberfest. I am a student after all!
And then last summer I decided I didn’t want to do another stupid studentjob so I signed up with Vacansoleil and spend the summer in north east France as a receptionist on a camping. Best job ever, environment could have been better: bad weather (even in Belgium they had a nicer summer! seriously!) and way too quiet for me.
Right now, as I said, I am a student economics at the HUBrussels and I am hoping to graduate this june. That would mean I get to spend the summer in Barcelona (again with Vacansoleil) and it seems my family is planning a citytrip together to visit me there. I’m seriously looking forward to that.
The future? Who knows what it might bring, but I’m sure you’ll read all about it on this blog!
